Giving Back, 15 Years Strong:
As we gear up to celebrate our 15th anniversary this August, we're reflecting on the incredible journey that Rock Solid has been on. And one thing that's always been at the heart of our company is a commitment to giving back to the community that has supported us throughout the years.
This month, we're putting that commitment into action by partnering with Our House, an amazing non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Little Rock.
Our House: A Beacon of Hope:
Our House provides comprehensive support, including shelter, childcare, and – critically – career services to help people get back on their feet and achieve self-sufficiency. We were particularly drawn to their Career Center, which empowers individuals with the tools and resources they need to secure employment and rebuild their lives.
How We Helped:
Our team got actively involved at the Our House Career Center. In our initial effort to assist, our marketing director, Tammy, is offering a monthly resume workshop. These classes at the career center are available to both shelter members and other community members seeking help. Computer and internet access are provided free of charge.
Making a Difference:
By volunteering our time and skills, we hope to have made a positive impact on the lives of those seeking assistance at Our House. Even small actions can make a big difference in someone's journey towards stability and self-sufficiency.
